Just wondering if you think that this will set off a major chain reaction or this is just a small move. I have no idea. Just curious.

Major. Was just coming to post it. An ACC team and Beast team going Big 10 will likely trigger several things.

ACC to grab another Big East.
Big 12 to re-evaluate 10-team stance while
PAC 12 mulls 14 and tries to raid Big 12 or finally settles on BYU
Big12 gets desperate if PAC steals a couple of teams - maybe settles on BYU
Big East may see western defections to MWC or C-USA.

Maybe

Anae just might be the guy. Wisconsin DC says Anae is totally unpredictable because he just runs a bunch of plays with no rhyme or reason. Whooped Butt on Houston DC for 3 of 4 quarters. Destroyed Texas DC and HC careers.

Another reason to avoid the big least.

The Big 12 and ACC will probably be competing to add teams that are (relative) geographic fits in either conference. That's most likely Louisville and Cincinnati, but I suppose there are a few others schools they could potentially consider. Or the Big 12 could try to do what was done the them by the Pac 10 and later the SEC--lure away several current ACC schools like FSU, Clemson, Georgia Tech, or Virginia Tech. That would be quite a coup...

I heard this rumor this morning and thought it was not true. I guess it is a possibility. Hope it leads to good fortune for us.

How is Maryland going to come up with $50 million for an ACC exit fee? But if this move goes down and the Beast loses Rutgers and UConn that makes it much less attractive to BYU. As long as the BYU-ESPN relationship remains strong you have to stick with that.
