John Beck headed to Canada

Beck will be joining his successor Max Hall playing in Canada. He just signed with the BC Lions.

Good for him continuing to chase the dream. I'm saddened by this, though, I still think he could have made it in the NFL (not on a stellar team, necessarily, but look at some of the bums starting in the league right now).


I'm just a regular, everyday normal guy,
I can't afford a car, I use public transportation,
I don't mind, I read till I reach my destination,
sometimes a newspaper, sometimes a book,

Yeah, it's hard for me to believe Beck isn't at least as good as guys like Blaine Gabbert and Brandon Weeden.

He is. Those guys will be out of the league before their 8th year as well; if not well before.
