Re: BYU - Sweet 16 - Women
We have a real live Cinderella story with this team. BYU-W are the only double digit seed on the women's side. 7 seed is next lowest, mostly 1-5 seeds. UCONN is a tall order, but win that one and they suddenly become a huge Cinderella story. Looking forward to seeing this one play out.

Looking at UCONN's schedule, they don't really have many close games. BYU is going to have to play the game of their lives. Maybe if they keep it close UCONN won't know how to handle the pressure.

Re: BYU - Sweet 16 - Women
I fully expect Jennifer Hansom to be in early foul trouble and be a complete non-factor in the game. I also fully expect the rest of the team to have one of their worst shooting games of the year. I think BYU loses by 30+
BYU PER W/L Since 1972: 432-76 (.850)
(8.4xYDS)+(330xTD)+(100xCOM)-(200xINT)

I think the goal is to lose by less than 20 points. They really can't beat this team but they can try to keep it close.

That's why you play the game. I don't know anyone who fills out a women's bracket, but I'm guessing not one had BYU this far, so I'll concede defeat only after the final buzzer.
I'm just a regular, everyday normal guy,
I can't afford a car, I use public transportation,
I don't mind, I read till I reach my destination,
sometimes a newspaper, sometimes a book,
the money I save, this stuff is off the hook,

Re: BYU - Sweet 16 - Women
I admit - I never watch women's basketball. Pro, or college, at any level - never. However, this women's BYU "Lady Cougars" team is special.
It was pure chance that I watched the women's BYU vs Nebraska game on Mon. I flew into SLC on Mon. and met some friends for dinner at the Ruby River Steakhouse in Provo. During dinner, the BYU women's game was on the TV's there. It was mesmerizing. We stopped talking. We stopped eating. We watched and cheered.
Best of luck today. It will be a tall order to beat UCONN - but it is possible. These "Lady Coug's" have a special team. It's already been a magical year.
