I find myself shaking my head at this point. Hope he finds a good situation, but it's time to let go and start looking for opportunities after football.

Football is his identity. He closes the books on football and he's left with a major identity crisis. Time to give up the dream. Finish out at a good school and take your degree.

Anybody know what his academic standing is?
He should be a senior by credits, especially entering early at BYU and with the redshirt year at KU... but with the transfer, some stuff undoubtedly didn't carry over.
What's his major? Non-football career options? Could he be a coach?
