Yeah, that bubble burst sometime after the Utah St. game. Definitely after the ECU game.
I think the bubble machine broke at the end of the UMass game.

You could have stopped after "Sitake's recruiting prowess" and it would have been just as true.
BYU PER W/L Since 1972: 432-76 (.850)
(8.4xYDS)+(330xTD)+(100xCOM)-(200xINT)

Re: Where BYU decommits landed
BYU has no Polynesian pipeline. Yes, they get some quality Polynesian players. But so does every major college across the nation. Look at Alabama's QB Tua Tagovaioloa. He's a 5 star freshman that won the National Championship for Alabama. Flash - Nick Saban is not Polynesian. There are outstanding Polynesian's at USC, U of Ohio, Michigan, Washington St. (All American), Penn St, Arizona St, Oregon St, Boise St, Fresno St, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Baylor, UCLA, Utah, etc, etc.
Bottom line - Polynesian athletes want what any athlete wants - to play and win. Sitake needs to turn this ship around quickly because he has proven his recruiting skills are average when BYU loses.

So your telling me BYU doesn't have a monopoly on the Polynesians?Ddawg wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2018 12:25 am BYU has no Polynesian pipeline. Yes, they get some quality Polynesian players. Not only a "non-monopoly" on Polynesian athletes. BYU doesn't even have a shot at the best Polynesian athletes. Great LDS Polynesian athletes are electing to go elsewhere because BYU doesn't measure up. That is a sad commentary.

Re: Where BYU decommits landed
That is true. I stopped short of saying that. Just look at 4* QB Tanner McKee. A very good pro style QB, LDS, going on a mission. He just signed with Stanford. It is a sad commentary to see how BYU recruiting and "on field performance" has declined under Sitake. We shall see how the next season shakes out. I hope the program rebounds.
