The Calgary Herald reports that wide receiver Jimmy Ralph (5'9", 173 lbs, Raymond HS), is planning to attend a semester at BYU in the fall.

According to the article, Ralph, the youngest of six children — including brothers Dustin, the head coach of the Raymond football team, Brett, a former Stampeder, and Brock, currently with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers — couldn’t be more excited to play for his idol Cahoon and BYU.

“When he met with me, he actually said he wants me to be a bit like him,” said Ralph.

On Monday in Football Alberta’s annual Senior Bowl high school all-star game, Ralph ran for a game-high 10 carries for 136 yards and had three catches for 34 yards and two scores to help the South smash the North team 34-6.

I expect he will be a walkon and not sure now long he will stick around. It sounds like just a semester.
