Iowa State is 2-0 and thus not as tired. But they play 2-0 Michigan Sunday in a Big 12 vs Big 10 match-up in Ames, Iowa, and then they need to travel here while we rest up. Iowa State has beaten a couple of warm-up type opponents by 30 points or so each. They are probably better than Stanford. But this game is in Provo. We need Tyler Haws healthy and a team with fresh legs over-all.

Michigan is a top 10 team, so Iowa State will be well-tested and may leave a lot on the court. They certainly will not be looking ahead to BYU when preparing for Michigan.

Yes, I think we now much more after today's game. But if I were game planning against BYU, I would do exactly what Mesa did--slow down the game, eat the whole shot clock, get BYU bored, get back on D, slow down transition, get them ot lf rhythm, modulate defensive sets often to keep them off balance and hope they don't shoot well, bc they will get their points in the paint.

Iowa State is actually favored in todays game vs #8 Michigan. If Tyler can't go I think we are going to be in some trouble

This is a really big game. It's at home and BYU can't afford to drop any home games this year.
