Arkansas State joins the Rugby Varsity Cup

This brings to seven the number of top ten collegiate rugby teams as ranked by RugbyToday Magazine now associated with the Varsity Cup.
There are five teams that have been finishing in the top five for the last several years. Three of them are in the Varsity Cup. The two holdouts out of the top five are St Mary's and Life.
The Varsity Cup isn't even two years old yet, but it has managed to attract seven of the top ten teams in the country. If this keeps up, the poorly run DI-A post-season tournament sponsored by Rugby USA will end up with all the status of the NIT for college basketball.
