Do you have a hard time remembering your lock combination? Do you want a battery dependent solution that is vulnerable to snooping/hacking?
If you are a hipster douchebag that wants people to be impressed with your hipster vibe everytime they pass by your 60s era Schwinn or your obscure beach cruiser, look no further than "Noke"--the world's 'first' (apparently this techie hipster inventors don't use google or Amazon that well, because 'first' doesn't seem to be quite accurate, see, e.g. "Teo", which I assume failed because everyone read the name "Teo" and assumed it was a catfishing scheme and no one was about to give out their credit card info to something online called "Teo") bluetooth padlock:
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Then again, if you aren't concerned about what random passerby think of your early-adopter status or tech-savvyness, or if you don't want the hassle of yet ANOTHER gadget to keep track of the batteries, here's a cheaper solution:
Save your padlock combo as a note on your phone, a contact, or even a google doc. You're using your phone with the "Noke" anyway.
