Was looking grim there for at bit. Love how we played tough and kept at it. 99 yard return return couldn't have come at a better time. Punting was awesome.

I think out secondary got exposed a bit today. Penalties are still an issue.

Love sending opposing QBs to the side line.

4-0 baby, woot! woot! I'm impressed. BYU is fierce this year. Virginia is going to finish their season well too. They are better than advertised and will do well in their ACC season play. Winning in different ways is important. We beat a good team today, who was beating us (literally, for a good portion of the game itself, and statistically, in tons of other ways).

Winning in different ways is important. We beat a good team today, who was beating us (literally, for a good portion of the game itself, and statistically, in tons of other ways).

Virginia will probably nose dive in the performance department after today (typical of most teams who play BYU tough e.g. Utah). BYU had some lucky bounces today and got trounced in a lot of stats. But they still somehow won going away. One of these days BYU is going to face a team who gets the bounces. Hopefully BYU can hold on for the win.

BYU was fierce vs Texas. It has been eeking out wins the last two games--its worst two games of the season. Its odd that BYU is playing worse at home than on the road.
BYU is undefeated and trending the wrong way.
If a team wants to beat BYU, it need only watch the last two games and do 3 things--
-Pass on O vs BYU. Roll out your qb and then dump to screens when BYU sends the house.
-Shut down Taysom and the run. And make him beat you with passes.
-Get BYU to turn the ball over. (Maybe the biggest reason BYU won today.)

BYU won the turnover battle today. That is the main reason we won. We did not get many points off those turnovers, but those turnovers got our defense off the field and stopped UVA from scoring on those drives.

Yes, but some team, (BSU?, UCF?)Is going to put it all together while BYU chokes from penalties and mental mistakes. UVA wasn't even supposed to be good on O. So, why did they accumulate more O to date this season? And out gain BYU BY ALMOST 200 YARDS? In our house?
