Can we stop automatically thinking it "must be an HC issue" when a young kid decides not to come to BYU?

UT is pretty risky when you have not a clue who the DC is...And ASU...well anyone who wants to wear the butt-ugliest uniforms in the history of uniformology...all I can say is bless them.....Ddawg wrote:This is not good. Lake is hoping for an offer from Utah or Az St. - perhaps both.
No, because it is routinely a reason. And it's a valid reason. And for a kid who is committed for over two years to come to the school, it's a logical conclusion that something has happened to force a change.BlueIsBetter wrote:Can we stop automatically thinking it "must be an HC issue" when a young kid decides not to come to BYU?

BYU and it's lifestyle isn't for everyone and it's better for a kid (and BYU too) to realize that before coming than after arriving.
We don't know if Dayan has HC issues. But my guess is either grades or HC.
PoVey for one...BlueIsBetter wrote:Which non-D1 athletes did he turn into a good secondary as a position coach?hawkwing wrote:As a position coach, Howell has shown that he can turn non-D1 athletes into a pretty dang good secondary, now as a defensive coordinator on the other hand...beauso79 wrote:DB Dayan Lake just decommited per Doug Kimmel on Twitter......I mean would you want Howell as your coach?
