Its refreshing hating Gonzaga only because they are good and beat us and not because they are arrogant, hypocritical, bigoted jerks like other rivals we have had. I honestly want Gonzaga to win outside of our games with them and hope they continue to win in the NCAA tournament. As for our other rival, I just can't get myself to feel bad for their misfortune at all.

PS: Can a team legitimately end the season ranked in the top 25 if they get blown out in 2 of their last 3 games.

No and that is the problem with P5 bias. I would love to see Gonzaga make it to the final 4 and knock that bias and arrogance right on it's butt!

Note they tweet later, that it wasn't targeted at Utah. And they were aware of any safety related memes.

It's almost funnier if they didn't know about the whole Utah safety first campaign.

How many PAC teams entered the NCAA and NIT? How many are left?

PAC12 - 7 teams (the magnificent 7) in the NCAA. How did they do?

First Round NCAA
#8 Colorado got beat by #9 Connecticut
#4 Cal got beat by #13 Hawaii
#6 Arizona got beat by #11 Wichita St.
#1 Oregon beat #16 Holy Cross
#7 Oregon St. got beat by #10 VCU
#8 USC got beat by #9 Providence
#3 :utard: beat #14 Fresno St.

Second Round NCAA
#1 Oregon beat #8 Saint Joseph's Hawks
#3 :utard: got beat by #11 Gonzaga #SafetyFirst

They went from the Magnificent 7 to the Stick in the Eye Six and the Ducks.

PAC - One team in the NIT
Round 1
#3 Washington beat #6 Long Beach State
Round 2
#3 Washington lost to #2 San Diego State.

Okay, for the sake of fairness, only one WCC team went to the NCAA and two went to the NIT. Not as "good" as the PAC, but let's see how it going down for those three teams.

NCAA
Round 1
##11 Gonzaga beat #6 Seton Hall

Round 2
#11 Gonzaga beat #3 :utard:

NIT
Round 1
#2 BYU beat #7 UAB
#2 St Mary's beat #7 New Mexico State

Round 2
#2 BYU beat Virginia Tech
#2 St Mary's beat #3 Georgia

Yes, it's impressive for a conference to have 7 teams picked to be in a 68 team competition, but after the first round, five of those impressive seven were eliminated by lower ranked teams. I guess they weren't so impressive and of the other two, one was eliminated by a much lower ranked team on the next round.

For the WCC, all three teams are still playing. I would love to see BYU, St. Mary's, and Gonzaga all make it to the finals of their respective tournaments which is impossible because, if BYU and St Mary's win tonight, they meet each other in the semi-final, so at the most, only one team can advance to the NIT final.
