I think this was a very good win for the team. I've only watched the highlights which, of course were good. The part I liked best was how they played team ball. Niagara has great guards. Matt Scott scored 36 points! However, BYU's team effort was too much for this talented team.

Niagra is a tenacious, but bad team. Glad BYU came away with a great 2nd half for the win.

I wouldn't say that they are a bad team. So far their 3 losses are #14 Minesotta - who looks legit - Umass, and BYU. All 3 very excusable losses. BYU is young, but they are burgeoning on becoming a very good team.

Niagara was ranked #191 by ESPN at the beginning of the season so they weren't supposed to be anything special. Ultimately, if they (and all of our other wins) are not RPI top 100 then it does nothing to get us into the tournament IMO. This was a team that we should have been able to beat without Byrant who could have really used the rest on his injured foot, but he was forced into play by our subpar performance and indeed without him we would have lost.

Niagara is #223 in RPI. Their 2 losses before BYU were by a combined 53 points.

TJ Haws' assists helped him to be Player of the Game.
