Uruguay 2 South Korea 1
ESPN3 announcers said South Korea outplayed Uruguay but couldn't get the goals.
ESPN Gamecast said South Korea deserved to lose for poor play.
I agree with ESPN 3 personally and originally though we'd be better off playing SOuth Korea should we get through Ghana. Here's to hoping that we play flat-footed Uruguay in the next round.
But more importantly, it was RAINING cats and dogs during the first game and the crowd was definitely thinned. Given that the U.S will likely be playing in front of a VERY pro-African crowd, here's hoping it keeps raining! You KNOW the U.S. fans who traveled down there won't be missing this game, so the rain will likely play to our advantage.
