if your in utah you have to consider Crown Burger and Olympus Burger. The Olympus Burger's Bacon Double is the bomb, fries are great too.

Re: Five Guys is Best Burger
Mmm. I love this debate.
Grew up in bush Alaska, so the only burger I ever had was a homemade caribou burger (which, in case anyone's curious, is the BEST meat on EARTH, burger, steaks, or otherwise - but that's another discussion for another time ), however, that also meant I wasn't subject to a "hometown" bias in this debate. Seriously, TRY to find a Californian who doesn't think InNOut BURIES all competition. TRY to find a Virginian who doesn't think Five Guys BURIES all competition.
So, on with the narrative:
Then I came to BYU - Oh my Pastrami Burger at Burger Supreme
Then I married a Cali Girl - Oh my Double Double Animal-Style at InNOut
Then we moved to Northern Virginia, birthplace of - Oh my Five Guys!!!
Look, you can't go wrong with any of the three, but if I'm being totally honest, it goes
1. Five Guys
2. Burger Supreme
3. InNOut
...with the caveat that when in Utah, a stop at Burger Supreme is just not optional. But hey, who am I kidding, if we're in Cali, it's not like we're not stopping at InNOut at least once either! I'm just happy I live at the home of the best of the three!

Re: Five Guys is Best Burger
My anniversary is tomorrow and our daughter is at Lagoon with friends so I asked my wife if she'd like to go to dinner tonight.
I was trying to think of somewhere nice and remembered this Italian place down the street we've wanted to try so we drive down there and just before we walk in the door my wife says "do you think they have burgers here?"
We don't have In and Out in SLC and Five Guys is too far away. We drove down to SmashBurger but something about it didn't turn her crank so we ended up at Crown Burger. Happy Anniversary!

Re: Five Guys is Best Burger
I like Tommy's on 1st North and 4th-ish West in Provo.
I need my burger from a dive, otherwise it just don't feel right.
