Nauvoo

Post by bigbluepuma »

With all the flooding along the Mississippi, has anyone heard anything about Nauvoo? The water is very high, and part of Nauvoo is pretty low. I sure hope it is spared.

Sounds like some are saying Nauvoo is not affected...further north is my guess and so does not have as many tributaries to contribute like it does the further south you get.

Thanks, Kiwi, and thanks for the link. That makes me feel much better. I did however, see a story just a couple of days ago that said that there would be flooding from Minnesota to Mississippi. I sure hope that they were wrong, or that the worst of it is over.

Out here in Tennessee, the Mississippi is a mile wide at some places. Right now its 3 miles wide in Memphis.

Along with the 300 tornadoes passing through in the South.

Its biblical out here.
