Obama succeeding
Remember about three years ago when some of us said we didn't want Obama to succeed and some people got all agitated about it saying we were just horrible to say such a thing? Well, he is succeeding and driving this country into the ground. This is what we didn't want to happen but knew that it would if he got his way. There may not be anyone on this board that wanted Obama to succeed but there certainly was on a previous board.
Just saying this in the case anyone is interested, that we weren't against a black president, just this one and his ill conceived policies.

I don't like to get into politics and all on the interweb, but I think we've been lacking good leadership for our country for the past eight years or so. I know what you're thinking, but sometimes a president handles some situations well, then gives in to pressures and ends up not as good or respectable as when he started.
I'm just a regular, everyday normal guy,
I can't afford a car, I use public transportation,
I don't mind, I read till I reach my destination,
sometimes a newspaper, sometimes a book,
the money I save, this stuff is off the hook,

We've been lacking real good leadership in the USA for about 20-25 years.Schmoe wrote:I don't like to get into politics and all on the interweb, but I think we've been lacking good leadership for our country for the past eight years or so. Re: Obama succeeding
Well back in the 80's we had Reagan, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope. Today we have Obama, no Cash and no Hope.

Re: Obama succeeding
Obama is what he is - a left leaning political animal. He cannot change his spots. A guy like him is very successful in an affluent society, when he can dive into everyone's pockets.
In tough, austere times - Obama's policies are poison ivy. Obama is toast. The unemployment figures will take care of that.

Re: Obama succeeding
I would not say he is succeeding. He demonstrated this by probably costing his party a place in the White House for the next election. I'm just hoping that whoever replaces him will do more things that actually help than he has done

Re: Obama succeeding
I'm not convinced that zeros like McCain, Huckabee, or Palin would have been a whole ton better. Just a little better.
