Riley era has to be done. I get that Bronco likes his moxie and work ethic, but in T. Hill, he have the moxy, the insane work ethic too, yet with more skill and a hgher future upside.

All things being equal, play the younger player. Just like LaVell did with Detmer over Covey. Hill has 'it'. Just needs polish, like Steve Young did, but he has 'it'. And the physical tools to go with it this time, unlike RN.
I just don't want to see Doman call the option or QB draw a dozen times in a game and leave his QB with a set of broken ribs.

Doman needs to wise up on the play calling. Course, our OL is so bad Hill be taking hits regardless...

This is why Riley needs to sit either until his back heals or for good if Taysom takes over and tears it up. There is obviously something wrong with him, he doesn't look like Riley nelson did last year even in a loss to TCU he had more fire and bounce in his step. I will join the Bronco criticizers if Riley starts next game and looks the same that he has in the last 2.

Lol! What on earth makes you think Riley would look as bad as he did vs Boise uta? Consider the competition. Riley is perfectly capable against creampuffs. Taysom gives us a better shot against tougher teams. Get him some reps NOW!

Geez, and Spiff was laughing at Brett Ratliff's 7.2 PER against BSU in 2006.
And I was laughing last night was well, when I calculated Riley's PER. I was simply dumbfounded. You almost have to TRY to get a PER that low.
Well, like I said in the other thread I'm sure both those guys would rather forget those games.

It's amazing how bad things can spiral out of control sometimes.

Because Jake Heaps was chased out of town with PER chants. What can they say now?
But to Spiffs credit, he gets it. He has been impartial on this and let the stats speak.
Any user who was online and could see the tweets (I couldn't get online last night, so I only had twitter through my phone) would have seen that I was begging for Hill to start the 2nd half.

No QB with the PER we saw in the first half should EVER start the 2nd half. The same reason why Heaps had to sit.

Coach: look, you're underthrowing all of your receivers and the defense in picking off your passes.
Riley: I can still fight
Coach: Really dude you need to let a healthy QB have a go.

- 4 vs Boise State
I didn't even know negatives were possible, wow.
I didn't either. I did it 3 times to make sure that I did it right.

I was expecting maybe 30's or something. Nooooope.
