Greg Wrubell on KSL just said that Heaps finished the game with a 162.2 PER. Very nice! 19-31 294 yards, 2 TD's, 0 INT. Good line. Keep it up Heaps!
Yes, a great game by Heaps, the receiving corp, running back corps, and the entire defense.
Some of my final game thoughts:

-Both Jacobsen and Ashworth looked good this game. They stepped up, caught the ball, got YAC, and seemed to finally play with heart and fire (2nd good game late in this year for Luke). A very welcome change.

-The biggest difference though, was Heaps. He simply looked "ON" today, much better than in past games. Not sure why, could be UNLV's D, could be the Bye week, could be increased QB-WR passing drills in recent practices, but whatever it was I hope it keeps up!

-Oh, and the TEs were still strangely non-existent in this blowout win. 2 catches, 15 yards, no TDs. Hopefully that's the last thing to get fixed this season, by the Utah game. MM looked decent today, but I still don't recall seeing Wilson get any snaps once again...
Yeah I saw him on the sidelines a few times... What is Anae doing?

Richard Wilson 2010 = Jordan Pendleton's freshman year

When are we going to stop benching talent because we have prideful morons as coaches?

Way to step up in the pocket Heaps!! Great catch Ashworth.
I saw this post before the play happened on my tv. crazy
I have my DVR set about 30 seconds behind here so that I can be synced up with KSL, but this is the first time all season that someones mentioned a play before it happened.
The last Giants-Rangers game, I texted my dad "AWESOME!" immediately after the big home run. He was texting me back "What?" when they showed the 3-run blast on his TV. :D

MARS - who should be playing ahead of Ashworth? YAC gets TD
To start the season? Jacobsen, Apo, Hoffman, Chambers, Mathews & Wilson, with a splash of Peterson/Brown/Marshall/Falsev.

MARS - any thoughts about that late hit by Bryson - weren't you calling for him to play more du eto talent - is he a freshman? Is that another freshman mistake. He should be playing now - it is a blowout. That is when you do play freshmen.
Ignorant fans also called for JJ to be benched after some fumbles early this season. Your comments seem to match your football education level.

Kariya is such a stud, I don't understand why Mars refuses to see it.
Kariya looked awful the first half of the season, you have to admit that. He has looked real good from SDSU on, once the offense switched to a power running game. So I guess that's on the coaches.

He's still no JJ though, and no Quezada either. Who cares though after games like today's.

2 yards between us and a shutout...
And we didn't hold 'em.

Now 1:20 and 25 yards...
