Assuming this is true (fingers crossed), why not AFA over another school from the BEast? I can't think of one that would make sense other than Louisville - maybe WVU? But the rest? I'd pass.Does BYU get an invite, or do they finally act on the invite they have discussed? That is the question. The Big XII needs to get to 12, which means adding 3. BYU has to top that list, and next comes Louisville and then a BE team. Obviously, the ship has sailed for Pitt, so the Big XII has already mucked this up.

Let's see. If BYU was in the Big 12 this year, going 1-2 OOC would not be an issue, as BYU could still win the conference and get into a BCS game.
