Re: Herman Cain
Meh. I'd vote for Cain over Obama, but the 9-9-9 is too gimmicky and expands Federal reach rather than contracts it. Sales tax is the domain of states, not the feds. I don't want to pay 17 percent sales tax once you ad up state, local, and federal tax.

Re: Can we all agree that Riley can run the BYU offense?
500 yards total offense, 38 points, and only one INT shows he can run the O. That and the team won. 3 straight wins with Nelson as the QB, he's doing something right.

Re: freaking Whiners
I saw a game that was much closer than it should have been in part due to some questionable holds and pass interference calls. And a team that gave up too many first downs during 3d and long situations. We all breathed a collective sigh of relief when BYU put up their final points, knowing the game ...

Re: Poll: OSU- BYU player of the game
Gave to Hoffman on offense and Ogretree on defense. Both deserved game balls. Hoffman's circus catches in the second half were incredible, reminded me of some of Mike Reed's acrobatics.

Re: Apo - DB flat out outran him
Did Jacobsen even have a catch today? Apo hasn't impressed me either. Hoffman is emerging. Matthews was quiet today too. The TEs did well though.

Re: Is this what I waited all offseason to see?
I saw much more involvement of the TEs today. I was disappointed that Heaps missed some opportunities to jump up quickly and bury Missi in the first half and that TD/INT was a shame as the defender was blocked from Heaps' view when he threw that pass. The CB made a great break on the ball and made ...

I noticed right away and thought about the curse as well. Glad to see it broken today.declocoug wrote:Ha, didn't even notice. Glad BYU got the win and I didn't know they were wearing those stinking whites.

Re: Quote of the Day
I thought it was one of the announcers stating after Kariya picked up a first down running up the middle that it was reminiscent of the old Lavell power-I style of play. I don't remember the power-I up the middle running from Lavell's years to be a hallmark, but I was young and maybe just enamored ...
