Re: BSU
Boise State's only chance for a BCS bid is as an at-large, for which it is qualified (given that the Broncos defeat SDSU and Wyoming on the road, not necessarily a given as both teams could exploit BSU's injuries). TCU win's the MWC due to its remaining cakewalk schedule at home. Not going to lose. ...

Re: TCU is a very average team
TCU is in a rebuilding year. The defense is not up to previous years. The offense is basically kicking on all cylinders. TCU lost in OT to a very good (and extremely motivated) SMU team (which will either win CUSA or finish second behind Houston). TCU also lost a very close battle at a very highly m...

Re: Mike Leach wiling to coach at BYU
I have never seen Leach say he was ex-Mormon. He still says he is Mormon. He came to Provo during the summers during the 90s to study the BYU offense. As such, he is at most an inactive Mormon (and likely still closer to the church than fellow inactive Gary Patterson....) more on Patterson http://w...

Re: Despite Heaps, BYU wins (was: Despite win, bench Heaps)
Who was our last quarterback who had such talent and such bad head issues? Berry? Engemann? Been saying it...Heaps = Engemann. I'm crossing my fingers that Heaps at least turns out to be John Walsh. Those BYU fans who remember their love-hate relationship with John Walsh will know what I'm talking ...

Re: New Big 12 - Do we want in?
Yes. Without delay.
Let's see. If BYU was in the Big 12 this year, going 1-2 OOC would not be an issue, as BYU could still win the conference and get into a BCS game.

Re: Pharisees & Saduceeses
If putting up a bad team and having bad execution and bad coaching serves the "mission" of BYU football, then let's kill the program right now.....

Re: Pharisees & Saduceeses
Bronco needs to learn not to engage with boosters and fans and their criticisms of his team. Fans and boosters have legitimate concerns about the management and execution of the football team. They are not always wrong (see firing DC Hill last year). Bronco needs a certain amount of ego as a head co...

Re: the rest of the way
TCU dominated AFA pretty badly, and then put in subs for the entire 4th quarter, letting AFA get 10 late points (including with 4 seconds left). The TCU offense is pretty much at the same level as 2009-2010, able to score at will and with either pass or run. The big question for TCU will be the defe...

Re: BYU ranked #34 AP and #42 USA Today
This game is being played as Texas rising up from behind to take a game BYU controlled, rather than BYU blowing the game.
If we beat Utah and UCF, we have a good chance to be ranked in the top 25.
After that, if we keep winning, we should be top 15 for the TCU game at 8-1.
