Re: Reddit user sorts FBS teams into Harry Potter houses
Interesting to see that most of the potential Big XII candidates ended up in Hufflepuff: UConn, Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, UCF, USF....Hmmm. Interesting.Hufflepuff gets the left overs or the schools that didn't rank in the top 60 in the other three criteria.

Re: Boise State quarterback Finley arrested early Saturday
If a person drives at a speed that exceeds the speed limit, but there is no law enforcement officer to catch the alleged speeder, does he really speed or break the law? Kind of sounds like the tree falling and making noise philosophy debate to me..... It's all theoretical and philosophical until so...

Re: Boise State quarterback Finley arrested early Saturday
Why can't and why should not society respond to that waste of dollars by restricting and/or regulating these substances? for me the question should be, why does society need to foot the bill for individual addictions. why should you or I pay for treatment and hospitalization for consequences relate...

How many individuals are in control of thei...

Re: Rose and the post season
I don't have a dog in this Rose vs Bronco fight, so I'll just focus on my issues with coaching last night. I knew within the first two possessions of the second half that we were in for a close fight and probable loss. The body language of players coming right out of the locker room was very differe...

Re: Thoughts on the Honor Code
BYU's grooming standards has nothing to do with what happens after you are endowed. As has been pointed out, you can go to the temple with a beard and long hair (and take out all the covenants necessary for salvation) but not take a Chem 101 test at BYU, The honor code is extremely overzealous and ...

Re: Thoughts on the Honor Code
BYU's dress and grooming standards also help condition and prepare students for the dress and grooming standards that will be imposed on them as missionaries and after they are endowed. Living the honor code even as it relates to dress and grooming are good preparations for important commitments and...

Re: Thoughts on the Honor Code
BYU has a brand to protect. Whether we personally agree or disagree with the specifics of the dress and grooming standards, this is the key. Missionaries are the same age as BYU students, in fact some of them have been or will be BYU students. Missionaries wear the name of the church and its "...
