Re: The way you will know that Bronco has faced the music
I would love to see Ty coaching at BYU in some capacity (QB coach or whatever, he is a genius). Having said that, I don't see him wanting it yet. I think right now Ty is probably struggling with his thirst for coaching QB's with his enjoyment of his current lifestyle. I do think he's interested in ...

Re: Logic and Speed
I agree with both you and Markell. Speed kills but good coaching can minimize the effects of lack of speed. BYU is trying to upgrade thier speed on both offense and defense by moving safeties to linebacker and such. Frankly, I think that issues we have been seeing with the 2 blowouts against BYU is ...

Re: The way you will know that Bronco has faced the music
You know, I think I'll abstain from this question. I'll say this, however, that I think Coach Hill is worth every penny we pay him, and probably then some. I would wager that no one on the coaching staff holds as much football information in his head than he does. Also, Coach Doman is invaluable to...

Re: The way you will know that Bronco has faced the music
I have a hard time picturing him letting anybody go. Maybe I'm wrong, but he seems really big into the loyalty thing. He is. But there are ways to let go those you are loyal to in a graceful manner. I hope Bronco has what it takes to get it done. It's been needed for a few years now. This quote lea...

Re: Well, crap.
Different year, same result. TCU is in Max's head. Max may end up as the winningest QB in BYU's history but he is also the architect of some of the worst beat downs I can remember. He feasts on the poor quality of the MWC also rans and gets pummeled by the good teams. I guess we will have to see wha...

Re: Why beating TCU COULD be good for the conference
Sure, TCU beating BYU and then winning a BCS game would be good, but TCU losing wouldn't be that bad, either. If TCU loses but wins out, and BYU wins out, then you have two MWC teams with one loss. Their only BCS competitor is BSU. Sure, BSU will likely be undefeated, but you will have TONS of nati...

Re: BYU 34 TCU 17
I am going to believe McGregor when he makes these types of predictions. I remember him getting flamed last year when he predicted the TCU loss before it happened. I think BYU will win today but Max is going to have to play a similar game to what John Beck did in 2006 for this to happen. I watched t...
