Re: My Expectations for this season
I suggest that they play Davies a lot this year and get him ready for the tournament. there will be growing pains but in the long run we come out ahead. Hartstock needs minutes too. I don't think Miles will get us there except for his defense. Rebounding is suspect. He is big just not real athletic...

Re: Gary Crowton
Whatever magic Crowton used to resusitate a dying program in 2001 died when Luke Staley broke his leg against Mississippi St. That was the single most important play in Crowton's career. He never recovered from that moment. Two things I believe about the Crowton era: 1) If Staley doesn't break his l...

Re: Quarterback Question
Just going off the top of my head, but Bronco has played multiple freshman. McKay Jacobson, Harvey Unga, Matt Reynolds, Matangi Tonga, Romney Fuga, Ethan Manumaleuna, Iona Pritchard, Jan Jorgensen (may not have been a true freshman) and even Craig Bills this year. If a freshman can come in and show ...

Re: Quarterback Question
there may not be an entrenched starter, but there will be TWO QBs who will have a spring ball that Munns won't. One of whom will also have an entire season as the backup QB who saw substantial playing time for a backup. Substantial playing time, yes. Substantial THROWING time, NO! Maybe M...

Re: Quarterback Question
Munns returns in June. There is no way Munns comes in June and wins the job. He won't have a spring ball and will still be adjusting to life at home before coming to Provo. I don't see why not, with no entrenched returning starter. 4 QBs, 0 starts at BYU. I really don't see Bronco naming a starter ...

Re: I liked the new wrinkles
Yeah, the likely could have lost the Wyoming game. The Utes have gotten by with their "great" defense but they're about to go up against a complete team. A team that can score. That can throw the ball. That can run the ball. That can play smoothering defense - the kind they haven't seen ye...

Re: Central Wash--BYU audio stream
Jimmer, JT, Emery = Clear Starters Morgan, Loyd = Clear Bench Players Zylstra, Magnusson = Clear Garbage Time Players Abouo, Anderson, Davies, Hartsock, Haws, Miles = Not a Whole Lot Separating Any of Them Yeah pretty much. I think the season hinges on what we get out of that fourth group and if we...

Re: Books to recommend
I am Legend was pretty good. I did enjoy the movie too.
I thought the Harry Potter series was thoroughly enjoyable.
Also, if you haven't read the DIRK PITT (trade mark) adventures, you're missing out on a good time.
