Re: Players in the Transfer Portal with Connections to BYU
Damuni announced he is committed to the utes. His announcement came after the announcement of BYU coaching changes. Very disappointing considering the number of connections he has to BYU.

Re: Frustrating 2022--but big changes coming
Everyone does want to play for BYU next year in the Big 12 if the defensive coaching was even remotely decent.byufan4ever wrote: ↑Mon Nov 21, 2022 1:26 pm I thought everyone wanted to play for BYU next year in the Big 12...

Young and inexperienced may not be the worst thing in the world. We'll see. This year we were old and experienced and disappointing.
I too would love to see Conover play. But then again, he should have played when Hall was injured and ineffective.

Re: 2022-23 Season
Pope gambled with the transfer portal and lost. Think how BYU's inexperience and lack of size would be different if BYU had Antoine Davis (NCAA scoring leader), 6'10" Mo Njie (transfer to SMU), 6'10" Fredrick King (Freshman at Creighton but reportedly much more advanced than Atiki).

Re: 2022-23 Season
Wiilliams was the biggest disappointment of the night. The Barcello heir apparent was benched in favor of a freshman who hadn't played for two years prior to practices that began this past summer. That said, I expect him to bounce back and be phenomenal moving forward. The other two disappointments:...

Re: BYU Basketball Finalizes Roster
Knell is injured. He may be out for the season or he may be back in February depending on how the games go through January. I really like Hall. He and Saunders both look good, imho. I want to like Robinson. I think he can be a good player but he seems to be the vacuum where once he gets the ball no ...

Re: Future of OOC scheduling
BSU and future schedules?
They were supportive of scheduling us when we went independent so I think they should be scheduled on a regular basis
When is the soonest that they could reappear on the BYU schedule? I believe we're committed for the next two or three years.

Re: Frustrating 2022--but big changes coming
One worry I have in the QB situation is that Conover is actually in his 3rd year in the program in 2022--he used a redshirt and the covid year to still be a freshman--but how long will he wait at #2? It sounds like Fennegan is the next guy up after him, but I've never heard much of any of the other...
