Re: What's more likely?
I don't really think it's that far-fetched that BYU win 11. I certainly don't think we'll make it to a BCS bowl and I certainly don't think we'll beat TCU but every other game is more than winnable with the exception of the FSU game (only because it's on the road but I think this has to be the game...

Rivalry Game/Scheduling
Here's an outside-the-box idea to schedule the Utes in 2011. It is clear that something has to give. Utah needs to drop Boise State or push that home-and-home series back a couple of years and then both BYU and Utah need to compromise to figure out where the game will be played the next few years. B...

Re: Who Wins the PAC-10 First?
Another interesting consideration related to this topic is divisional alignment. How will PAC 12 division alignment affect your thoughts on who wins the PAC 12 first? If Utah and Colorado are put in a NW Division with the Oregon and Washington schools, I think the road for both Utah and Washington i...

Re: Who Wins the PAC-10 First?
Lawboy,
I stand corrected. Arizona went 3-8 in 2004...2-6 in the PAC...I was looking at the wrong stats....I still think the Utes will do OK in the PAC 12...just a long shot to be a serious contender for the conference title.

Re: Who Wins the PAC-10 First?
UCLA. The Bruins already have the athletes and will be the main benefactor from the USC fiasco. 2010 is actually Washington's best shot for the next couple of years, as it loses Locker to the NFL after this season. However, there's too much competition with USC, UCLA, California, Oregon, and Oregon ...

Re: The thing about Riley Nelson that can't be ignored
I agree Bronco is being very politically correct here. He is not hinting that either has the nod just that its anybody's for the taking. I think the non-decision at quarterback could play well for the Cougs against Washington. If I were Bronco, I would not make ANY public announcements about who wi...

Re: Revised BCS numbers 08-09
The addition of Boise State will really help the MWC this upcoming season (as opposed to what Utah would have brought). They are in the pre-season top-5 and should easily finish ranked higher than Utah. I have no doubt they will bring more for the MWC in 2011 than Utah would have. As pointed out, ho...

Re: BYU Football in 5 years?
I honestly do not believe that the Big XII will be around in 5 years. I know the expansion talk has become passe, but I believe that the Big Ten will look to add at least two more teams (seriously, do you really think that all the commotion about the expansion of the Big Ten and its network revolved...
