Re: BYU is 2nd in the West
This isn't a realistic comparison, it would be more realistic if they went off of % of stadium capacity and number of sellouts. People can pretend all they want but if Utahs stadium held 70,000 it would probably sell out every weekend. For all those who don't believe it go ahead and drive down on g...

Re: Nevada
Excellent team defense last night. Great rotation. Very few open shots. Team rebounding.
I do think Nevada had an off night, but most most shots were contested and they couldn't do anything inside. Nevada was averaging about 80 points per game...they scored 42.

Re: College Football Playoff Expansion
I like 14. Include all 10 conference champions, but the lower champs have to play each other and the wild cards have to play each other, for the right to make the quarterfinal field. PLAY-IN Miam(OH) v. Boise State Florida Atlantic v. Appalachian State ROUND 1 8-Seed game: Play-In at Memphis 7-seed ...

Re: Next order of business: 2019 Early Signing Period
Just saw that we received a hard commit from Ace Kaufusi (Kahuku H.S., Hawaii). Good player with lots of potential at linebacker.
Even better that we will ensure a Kaufusi on the roster for years to come. My sons absolutely love the Kaufusi players.

Re: BYU & ESPN have agreed on 7-year deal thru 2026
I am interested when the numbers will be "leaked" for the deal. I would hope BYU would get paid more than what the highest G5 school gets and then some. I would also hope for fewer 8:30pm starts, but I know that isn't going to happen. I have heard that the ESPN deal includes only 4 games ...

Re: BYU & ESPN have agreed on 7-year deal thru 2026
Now we just have to win significantly more than when lose with all this TV/media access. All the eyeballs on us in the world isn't really fun when you're putting on a mediocre show. Actually, BYU has taken nice advantage of many of its big-stage games...for instance, this year, we beat USC in an ex...

What are our chances at OL Gentry? He's a 4-star prospect and has the measurables - 6'8", 310 lbs...
His brother, JT, is on the team and 247Sports lists him as 100% BYU...but he's got offers from just about everyone, including Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, LSU, Notre Dame, etc.

Re: BYU Opponents: Week 13
You need to update your rankings even further. USC came in at #23 in the CFP selection committee's rankings this week. BYU has two wins over ranked teams in 2019!
2-1 record against ranked opponents and 4-3 record against unranked opponents.

Re: Who SHOULD start at QB against UMass?
I voted for Wilson because he is QB1 on the depth chart and needs live game opportunities to build confidence and get into a better rhythm going in to the SDSU game. It was also the right move to rest Baylor Romney last week to allow his turf toe to continue to heal. It's better to have the backup a...

While Hoge is still technically listed on the team, his career is over because of concussions.
