Re: Elijah Bryant = newest bball player
From what I could see in the video fits the big, strong, skilled guard mold. He isn't a explosive athlete and I didn't see a single defensive highlight . He is listed at 6'4" 225. Hopefully he is enough of athlete to hang defensively. I read he did a year a prep school and played a year at Elo...

Re: Toledo?
Oh come on, Toledo (I lived for a year about 20 miles from there)? Not totally dissing the Rocket's program because they have been a power in the MAC, but a straight up one-for-one? Toledo Stadium (Glass Bowl) facts: Capacity 8,000 (1937-1939) 11,500 (1940-1948) 12,800 (1949-1965) 15,900 (1966-1970...

Re: Nate Austin returning
Hmm these leaves Coach Rose with an interesting problem. We need offense so Davis needs to start at the 4. If Aytes is who we think he is then he should take the 4 minutes that Davis can't. So that leaves the minutes at the 5 to split between Austin and Kaufusi. So who do you start? The 6th year se...

Re: Alan Hamson
You beat me to it, it is from Arnett. Here's a family picture. Any idea if that is a current picture? In other words is Alan now home from his mission. I kind of think it is, because Jenn's younger sister was only around 6' 5" when Alan left and she now looks taller than Jenn (but I could be w...

Alan Hamson
Today there is a lot of rumblings (Cougar Board) about Alan Hamson walking on at BYU instead of taking a scholarship for other schools. Has anyone seen a tweet (I don't tweet or facebook) that would confirm this?

Yoeli Childs and Connor Harding
I had no idea that Yoeli Childs and Connor Harding are ranked this high from ESPN (#55 & #99 on ESPN's top 100); http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/playerrankings Noticed Utah had 4 recruits listed: #20 Frank Jackson, Lone Peak #55 Yoeli Childs, Bingham #71 Koby McEwen, Wasa...

Re: Gavin Baxter
Scout lists him as a 4 star recruit. He sounds like a good get. He is also a top 100 recruit (#53) on Scout.com. It's crazy how many top 100 recruits Utah County has produced in the last 4 years: 2013- Eric Mika 6' 10" 230: 4 stars, #4 C, #38 Top 100 recruit (Lone Peak High School) Nick Emery ...

Re: WR
Who is this WR? Does he favor BYU? [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://cougarcorner.com/images/mobile.png Sounds like Ty Jones 6' 3" 190 from Provo High School. BYU just offered him and he is very high on BYU (almost committed on the spot). http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3177800/highlights/191...
