Three Amigos (Aaron Roderick, Steve Clark, Fesi Sitake)

Post by E-Zone15 »

This was pretty good write up by Harmon, he does not do as much as he once did; ... imes-began

Coach Grimes was very good at including his staff and excepting their input. Coach Clark is a pretty humble man and from what I have heard is the he is very, very good at breaking down film. It looks like what made BYU O so good was all the different input put in by the O staff.
Just look at the past OC experience of the "Three Amigos":

Aaron Roderick
2015-16 Utah: Co-OC/ QB Coach
2014 Utah: Passing Game Coordinator (PGC)/ QB Coach
2012-13 Utah: PGC/ WR Coach
2010 Utah: Co-OC/ WR Coach

Steve Clark
2014-16 Weber St: OC/ QB Coach
2008-13 Southern Utah: OC/ QB Coach
2003 St. Mary's: Passing Game Coordinator

Fesi Sitake
2016-17 Weber St: OC
2014-15 Weber St: PGC/ WR Coach
2013 Southern Utah: PGC/ WR Coach

I went to Brian Fremeau twitter account after reading the write up and he has a lot of stats that really opened my eyes to how good BYU O was in the 2020 season;

And last at the bottom of the write up:
"Clark said replacing offensive line coach Mateos is crucial. “It’s the most important coach on the team, it really is. To me that’s the most important coaching position on staff. He has the whole line, he has so much responsibility and so much depends on that person for the success of the offense. It’s going to be a big, big hire for A-Rod, Kalani (Sitake) and Tom (Holmoe)."
