BYU and Utah State extend football series

Utah State and BYU previously agreed to play each other through the 2022 season.

The new contract, signed on October 5, 2020, adds four more games to the series. Utah State will host BYU at Maverik Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023 and Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, while the Cougars will host the Aggies at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Friday, Oct. 4, 2024 and then again on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026.

Below is the complete list of dates for the Utah State-BYU series from 2021 through 2026:

Oct. 1, 2021 – at Utah State
Sep. 30, 2022 – at BYU
Sep. 16, 2023 – at Utah State
Oct. 4, 2024 – at BYU
Oct. 3, 2025 – at Utah State
Oct. 2, 2026 – at BYU

So it looks like the 2020 cancelled game is just plain cancelled.

2021 is a complete schedule.
2022 only has 10 games (needs 2 road games).
2023 has 11 games (needs 1 FBS home game).
