Utah's WRs are hitting the transfer portal

Bryan Thompson, WR, Redshirt Sophomore -> Arizona State

Thompson spent four seasons with the Utes, notching 33 receptions for 756 yards and four touchdowns over 33 appearances.
Samson Nacua, WR, Senior -> ???
Samson Nacua, a senior with 45 career games played, registered 1,015 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. His five touchdowns in 2018 led the Utes, while his four scores in 2019 were tops among wide receivers.
Cam Gardner, WR, Sophomore, -> ???
Has 4 years of eligibility remaining. Walked on in 2019 and played in 7 games. Played in all 5 in 2020.

All I can say is I think BYU got the much better deal in the coaching switch. Remember back when Guy Holliday went from coaching WR at BYU to taking the same job at Utah (2016). In 2014 A Rod was moved from WR coach at Utah to QB Coach and 2015-16 K Whit added Co-offensive coordinator to A Rod's title. But after the 2016 season A Rod was shown the door, he took the 2017 season off and joined BYU in 2018. So in away BYU just did a coaching swap with Utah and IMHO BYU got the much better deal.
Guy Holliday is still Utah's WR Coach and they have had a number of year with WR leaving the team (year recruited that transferred):
2017: Tyquez Hampton, Bronson Boyd, Josh Nurse, and Jaylen Dixon (transferred then came back)
2018: Raelon Singleton
2019: Siaosi Mariner

Update, Guy Holliday WAS Utah's WR coach. Interesting the issues as we all loved him at BYU.

His son tweeted and then deleted that it's interesting that a black coach has been fired but another coach can remain on staff while using the N-word towards recruits.
