The radio network is now under the Bonneville Communications/KSL operation and The Big Show changes were immediately announced with Gordon Monson and Austin Horton being dropped from the show immediately.
The SL Tribune reported:
In addition, Bonneville is making changes to the programming of the station, including cutting ties with longtime host and Tribune columnist Gordon Monson. In 2001, Monson and Jazz TV play-by-play man Craig Bolerjack founded the Zone Sports Network, which began as an independent radio station before being bought by Larry H. Miller Sports and Entertainment. Monson had been a co-host of the station’s afternoon drive-time program, “The Big Show”.
Other radio producers were also let go in the deal.
