Tournament Resume

Post by Jarhead »

Lets hope the cougars can wrap up a very successful non-conference schedule this weekend. The latest ESPN bracketology has them projected as a 10 seed in the midwest based on the results so far.

The most disappointing part of the season so far was losing to Utah. But the disappointment rests of the NCAA organization themselves. If Childs had gotten to start playing even a game or two earlier we almost certainly would have won the game against Utah. It’s hard to be fully game conditioned when you’re not getting to play in real games.

Here is our current tournament resume:

The SMC win is current a Quadrant 2 win because home games are only #1-30. It really would be best for SMC to beat Gonzaga because Gonazaga would most likely stay a Q1 while SMC would be boosted up into Q1.

Best scenario for us is for SMC to split with Gonzaga and run the rest and we win the rest of our games.
