San Francisco

44-25 at the half. Best defensive effort I’ve seen in a long time. Everyone is locked in tonight. USF has made the big runs last few meetings. Hopefully not tonight. Baxter burns redshirt. Think it will help in the long run this season.

90-76 final. USF didn’t quit and cut it to 7 with under 4:00 to play. Cougs got the job done. Tied school record of 9 straight games shooting +50%. Coaching staff had done a great job this year. Fun team to watch. Would be nice to win the rest leading up to the Zags coming to MC.

Phew... that got a bit too close. Good game.

Was cool to see Baxter out there. Wish they played him a bit more to get his legs up under him.

I think we broke the school record for most 3s in a game...again.

USF is a tough matchup. Cougs will be alone in 2nd place in WCC after tonight. Bye into semis of WCC tournament is at stake by holding on to 2nd. Can’t slip up before Zags. Team seems focused right now. Two road games next week at LMU and SD. Winnable for sure, but road games are never guaranteed.

Good game. BYU needs to learn how to step on SF's throat and not give up leads. That team believes they can come back from any deficit against BYU and almost did it again. Nice win though. BYU needs to win out and then make it to the finals in the WCC tourney and they will be guaranteed a spot in the tourney. With Baxter coming back we could actually make some noise in the Tourney this year.

I was way off. We made 12 three pointers. Record is 17. Oops.

We shot 48% from the arc tonight.

LMU and San Diego won't be gimmies. Oh, and USF is going to be real good next season. They have a solid coach and good players.

It was great to see Baxter out there but he was definitely rusty. He actually looked lost on defense and didn't know when to rotate and bumped into his own teammate. Coach Pope said that he hadn't even had a full week of contact practice yet.
