Well, the "limited family attendance" policy should favor the Cougars what with all the married players and all.

Re: NCAA Tournament will be fan free
This had been a day like few others in my life. I just never expected to see such level of change happen without someone exploding a device or something.
Kind of reminds me of sport wise of the year the the Cleveland Indians were streaking toward the end of the season and looked to overtake the Chicago White Sox and then the strike happened and the season ended and for the first time, there was no World Series. At the time, I worked for the company that owned Rawlings Sporting Goods. They sold all the employees official World Series baseballs for real cheap. I bought half a dozen. I always thought it would have been cool to get the Indians to have signed one of them.

Honestly, after today, I will be real surprised if the tournament actually comes off. IMHO, I'd only give it about 5-10% chance of happening, even without fans.

Looking at what is happening with NBA, I wouldn't be surprised to see the tournament cancelled or postponed.
But fans, like the guy from Davis, knowingly going to a basketball game 3 days after being diagnosed with COVID-19 doesn't help the situation. I get the thing is getting blown out of proportion, but given the scrutiny of the situation, who shows up to a basketball game with a highly contagious disease. I mean, even if I had your normal, run of the mill flu, I'd do the people around me a favor and not show up to a public event. Sigh...rant over.

Re: NCAA Tournament will be fan free
Well so far it sounds like the NCAA will try to run the tournament. I would leave it up to the players and coaches. If they're willing to travel from home and risk coming into contact with the virus, then let them. Really, the biggest risk is not so much to the players, but them bringing it back to their families and then it affecting more than anyone, their older family members. I bet Rudy Gobert will fly through this like 97% of the rest of the people that get the disease and recover, as would probably any of the players and coaches that could come down with the virus. I guess it's just left up to us older Americans to try to isolate ourselves for a spell. My problem is that I'm only in my early 60's and still work, so it's hard to isolate.
I honestly don't know the answer.

My March just freed up quite a bit! And I'll be much more productive at work for the next 3 weeks!
