Well, like I said in the other thread I'm sure both those guys would rather forget those games.SpiffCoug wrote:And I was laughing last night was well, when I calculated Riley's PER. I was simply dumbfounded. You almost have to TRY to get a PER that low.MTM wrote:Geez, and Spiff was laughing at Brett Ratliff's 7.2 PER against BSU in 2006.
It's amazing how bad things can spiral out of control sometimes.

There is obviously something wrong with him, he doesn't look like Riley nelson did last year even in a loss to TCU he had more fire and bounce in his step. I will join the Bronco criticizers if Riley starts next game and looks the same that he has in the last 2.
Lol! What on earth makes you think Riley would look as bad as he did vs Boise uta? Consider the competition. Riley is perfectly capable against creampuffs. Taysom gives us a better shot against tougher teams. Get him some reps NOW!

Riley era has to be done. I get that Bronco likes his moxie and work ethic, but in T. Hill, he have the moxy, the insane work ethic too, yet with more skill and a hgher future upside.
All things being equal, play the younger player. Just like LaVell did with Detmer over Covey. Hill has 'it'. Just needs polish, like Steve Young did, but he has 'it'. And the physical tools to go with it this time, unlike RN.

I just don't want to see Doman call the option or QB draw a dozen times in a game and leave his QB with a set of broken ribs.Lawboy wrote:Riley era has to be done. Doman needs to wise up on the play calling. Course, our OL is so bad Hill be taking hits regardless...
