No. And I base my answer on many things, inlcuding past events, Bronco's comments after this and other games and my knowledge that BM is a dumbyewt that has already concluded that RN is the best regardless of results.
Yeah, that's logical.
So you demand logic of me, some idiot fan, but not of the head football coach?

Bronco has been perfectly logical in explaining why he used Riley. You can agree or disagree with his reasons but he wasn't doing it just because he "liked" Riley. Bronco has forgotten more about football then probably any of us criticisers on this site will ever know and he has spent more time with all the QB's than any of us as well.

By the way BYUtx, where were you the last two weeks? Only have something to say when BYU loses?

He has been consistently there on Cougarboard. My guess is that he got flamed away from the site by Trollbib (as did I - prior to the last 2 weeks I didn't even have an acct there, but I got so sick of Trollbib's trolling that even though I still visited this site daily I didn't post because of the Yewtishness of Trollbibs responses).

ps Hawk this isn't a recommendation to CB. I like THIS site over CB for actual dialogue and content. This site rocks! It just got to a point where Tbib was spewing hatred and trolling on every post, almost to every user. That turned me off the site. I felt guilty putting another site member on ignore, so didn't want to do it at that point. I now see what a blessing that little ignore button is that you have.

Wow, some of ya'll are really angry.

BYU had a "down" year by their standards. Here's looking forward to 2013.

Loses always bring out the emotion in everyone and reality and history sometimes go out the window or are forgotten in the heat of the moment. But we're all Cougar fans, and we're all hoping for better to come.

Disagree - other wide receivers have not shown separation ability or skill to consistently make big catch. Riley is going to throw to those that he trusts. Look at Falslev and Apo and TEs this year - they are underperforming. Let's see - that leaves us Hoffman and Williams as threats. This doesn't cut it against good teams because they can focus all of their efforts on taking away these options. When we have won, others are more involved, this needs to be standard, and to play those who rise to the top when times are difficult. Note - Hoffman played last portion of 4th with broken collarbone and still came up with onside kick recovery and big time catches. Riley threw TD with major injury - fought threw the pain. The offense lacked mental fortitude this game because not everyone played with same passion as Riley, Hoffman and Williams. This has got to change in the future if we realize success.

It's a sliding scale. To some extent, a good QB can do a lot with average receivers. Conversely, when the QB has the arm-strength and accuracy Riley, wide receivers need to achieve a lot more separation and demonstrate the ability to make some circus catches...

The separation is there, and has been. Riley cannot make the throws. Over and over again.

The separation has not been there all the time. The coverage has been tight and athletic catches har been required as well as accurate throws - see Ut and GT long passes. Also see BSU and ND games - missed opportunities. Problem is both have been off and thus loss of many close and winnable gamed. Truly frustrating because last year Riley generally pulled them out.
