Re: BYU vs UVA thread
Anae needs to throw the ball more. Incorporate our TE's more. Teach Hill not to zip it on short throws.
We'd be good after that.
Good to know where we stand now.

AMEN!!! Maybe you get the first down running, maybe not. Worst case scenario 2:30 left on the clock. Punt the $&@$ ball!!! Long field with only one timeout for Virginia. Frickin' Pop Warner 101!!!

I always considered my self to be a pretty level headed objective fan....
Guess I'm a stupid blue goggle wearing homer who'll buy in to any unfounded hype.
*sigh*
Alas I'll be watching next week, believing my cougars to be better than the rest.

I would like to think BYU was better than the rest, but they are such historical choke artists, it is hard to count on them to ever close out a game.

Well, I'm experienced at this. I'm an Angels baseball fan. Use to choking and losing. At least my Cougs are consistent. It doesn't matter who the coach or the QB is. Still, I bleed blue.
Lost another game that we "Coulda, woulda, and shoulda." Feeling nauseous. Dayumn!
I'm sure glad they hiked those ticket prices - yeah!

Re: BYU vs UVA thread
Game is over, as is any productive discussion on this thread, so it's locked. I just got on, but I've gone back through and deleted a number of posts that either (i) crossed the "no personal attacks" line, or (ii) responded to or furthered discussion on another post that was deleted. If you have a question why something was deleted, pm me.
Some reminders for everyone:
(1) Losing sucks, we get it--don't take it out on each other. No personal attacks.
(2) If you feel like someone is trolling, click on the report button for the post--right next to the "quote" option, I believe. Hawkwing, SpiffCoug, or myself will take care of it as soon as we can.
(3) Game days are always a bit wild and/or woolly on the site. Emotions run high, trolls like to cast bait (especially after losses) and adding to all of that is the fact that Spiff, Hawkwing, and I tend to like to actually watch and/or attend the games, so there's not always a moderator on hand. Tonight Hawkwing was dodging lightning in Virginia, Spiff was hosting a watch party, and I was watching at my Grandparents. Moderation might run a bit slower, but that's just the nature of the site and always has been. We will take care of any moderation that's needed as soon as we get back. Using the report button helps us by drawing our attention where it's needed right off the bat.
(4) Don't feed the trolls. Like Miley Cyrus they feed off of negative attention. Click report and move on.
I may not always be on the site, but when I am, I promise to go fast and go hard.
