Misleading W/L Records

If you look at the W/L records for all D1 Teams, you could jump to a lot of wrong conclusions if you did not drill down and look at who teams played and who they beat and who beat them.

Interesting facts

Only one WCC team has more losses than BYU and that team only has 6 losses.
BYU has 5 losses

Iowa State remains undefeated
Wichita State remains undefeated
UMass has 1 loss
Utes have 1 loss - a 2-point loss to Boise State
Oregon remains undefeated

BYU has 3 Quality Wins

Texas has 2 losses - 1 was to BYU
USU has 2 losses - 1 was to BYU
Stanford has 3 losses - 1 was to BYU

BYU has some tough opponents coming up and will play them 2-3 times each. WCC is a little stronger over-all as well.

Gonzaga has 2 losses
St. Mary's has 1 loss

CBS RPI has BYU and 7 of these teams in their top 25 ranking.

I predicted BYU to be a 1 and done NCAA team. Still could happen. I may have underestimated the teams listed above and WCC over-all in predicting 25 wins. We could still get to 25, odds are getting slim.
