I was surprised at how nice the University of Phoenix stadium was. The place was immaculate, comfortable, and a pure pleasure to watch a game in. Much better than my only other NFL stadium experience, Qualcomm, which is about as crummy a place to watch a game as I've ever been to.

I don't know why everyone is saying two runs called back, I only remember one. If people are referring to the one block in the back by Trinnaman, that was a spot foul at the 10 yard line so it took away only 15 yards instead of the entire run, or am I missing a different one?

Most Improved Player = Jonny Linehan. The boy was money on his sky-kicks all night long. He may not have a boomer leg to flip the field, but if BYU can keep the offense from stalling out, Linehan can put the other team in a bad spot all year long.

That's the one, it wasn't called all the way back, but lost yards.

I believe a second run was called back on an illegal shift penalty or a facemask?

this was the big one I remember and Hawk confirmed the Trinnaman block in the back.

I was frustrated on that drive because Hill completely missed two wide open receivers in the end zone on that drive. it was the play where he threw it to Balderree who got completely blown up by 3 Arizona defenders, but if he had looked up he would have seen Moroni standing wide open in the middle of the endzone and Kurtz running a corner route and had at least 3-4 steps on the DB.

Now for the bright side, if Hill had seen either receiver and BYU scored a TD then perhaps Almond wouldn't have kicked such a pathetic field goal and horrible pat miss and he would have been lining up for the game winning attempt and not Jake the Make!

Was he playing cautious or just playing smart? He actually had a couple runs were he had a burst of speed but because he didn't run for a 70 yard TD everyone is saying he has lost a step. I saw a very conscience effort to run out of bounds. He only ran upfield a couple of times. Hill said after the game that this was the best his body has ever felt after a game. I remember during the 2013 season, Hill's body was just a giant bruise from head to toe all season long, so I think with Ty's offense it allows Hill to play smarter. Don't get me wrong, I still believe we will see him rip of a 79 yarder, hurdling defenders along the way!!

What I have been saying is we haven't seen him really turn on the speed yet. Whether that was him being cautious or holding back I don't know because I'm not inside his head. I can tell you that AZ was selling out to keep him from getting big runs, they had their safeties playing deep and they spied him with a LB all game. There is going to come a game sometime this season where he gets a hole and everyone will know he hasn't lost a step. I don't know when but it will happen. Ty said in the coordinators corner two weeks ago that guys have been talking trash in practice that they could have "had him" if they could have tackled him in practice and Ty said "no you wouldn't".
