Not for local legacy recruits. These are guys that everyone is EXPECTING the coach to recruit. If he was getting academic exceptions to bring in guys with no ties to the university and they were doing stuff like this that is one thing, but I don't think anyone blames the coach for guys like Ah You, Pau'u, Bernard, etc.
To me, this makes it worse. Shows a total lack of control of the program.

I disagree no coach can control every action and choice that 18-22 year olds make. Every year players from almost every program make dumb choices this has nothing to do with the coach having a lack of control. Even Whit, one of the most in control coaches in all of football has players who have issues. Come on one frUte player just got arrested for rap. No one is pointing a finger at Whit saying he doesn't have control.

But admittedly you already have an axe to grind against Sitake so would use anything you can to show why he should be fired--even if there is nothing to it. ;)

How many of these instances did we have in 10 years of Bronco? How many have we had in 4 years of Sitake? Coaches can control these to an extent. Sitake has less discipline in his program that is a given.

True to an extent. I actually like Sitake as a person and have really wanted him to succeed because he loves the program so much. My axe to grind is professional only, if he figures things out and BYU becomes what it should be, you will find no one who will defend him more. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening and last year was 100% proof that he doesn't get it.

I’d like a report to ask coach what is he doing this offseason to be a better coach?

There was plenty of black eyes during Bronco's administration.
Kyle Van Noy - DUI
Shiloah Te'o - DUI
Josh Weeks - violation of stalking order
Sione Takitaki - theft
Miami Beach Bowl brawl
Lapuaho nut punch
O'Neill Chambers - "disciplinary suspensions"
Terrance Hooks and Vic So'oto - burglary
Matangi Tonga - burglary
Jamaal Williams - underage drinking
...

I think you are reaching on a bunch of those. The Miami Beach bowl thing was ByU reacting to getting attacked by Memphis players. O'Neill Chambers "disciplinary issues" was him freaking out in 2010 from losing a lot, nothing to do with drinking or smoking weed. Kyle Van Noy DUI happened before he even came here and he never had any issues once he got here. Lapuaho was a football play, heat of the moment and was taken care of. I never heard about the Hooks So'oto thing you are going to have to enlighten me. I don't know how either player could have played at BYU after that, I don't even remember any suspensions for either of those players. That leaves what, 3-4 left, in 10 years?

I can't remember specifics but wasn't there a fight in a fast food joint involving a few player under Bronco?
