From Greg Wrubell's tweet: A-Rod will continue to coach QBs, Fesi will continue to coach WRs, while the other offensive staff members (Clark-TEs, Unga-RBs, Mateos-OL) will stay on board under A-Rod.

This opens up a coaching spot that it sounds like will be used on defense. Probably where we need it most.

One guy to keep an eye on through this BYU football hiring process is Coach Kevin Clune.
He’s been a defensive coordinator at Oregon State and Utah State.
Most recently he was coaching linebackers at Memphis.
Kevin Clune has been volunteering at BYU this season on the defensive side of the ball as his Memphis contract is still being paid out through 2020.

Re: BYU Coaching internal promotions
I'm a bit stunned that Grimes is not taking a single person from BYU with him.
When's the last time you saw a HC, OC, or DC leave a school after a breakout season like this and NOT take a single assistant with them?
Does this say more about BYU or more about Grimes?
This is going to make this October's game in Waco interesting (assuming that the game still gets played)

I think it says more about BYU than Grimes, everyone else on the offensive staff is a BYU guy first. Except for Mateos, and Grimes must think that Pugh is a better fit for Baylor.
