Didn't we have a top rated lineman last year as well? It obviously isn't just the so called skill players that are skilled when you have a team this good

If you go check out Hans Olsen's youtube breakdowns, he gives the line glowing reviews for the job they are doing this year. Many expected a drop off because they lost some experience but they are doing great.

I was kinda worried with Grimes leaving that our OL would take a hit. It may still take a few years to see if we are still able to bring in the same type of recruits and coach them up. But this season is promising.

It is too early to tell what the impact will be without Grimes.

The reason the team is this good is because of the line. Every time BYU has had a dominant team, we have had a dominant Offensive line. That is why I was sad when Grimes left last year. We had great teams during Lavell because of Roger French, the 06-09 teams were great because of Jeff Grimes and then coincidentally our Grimes coached Olines of the last couple of years are good again. I hope the new Offensive line coach can keep this going.

I think it was Barrington last year. Good to see the line reload this year. It even cost Whitt his house.
