BYU v Oregon
Show of hands of who thought we'd be up 19 at the half?
Barcello is perfect shooting and Traore is playing like a man out there. Love it!

Re: BYU v Oregon
Our D has been outstanding and we have not let Oregon have much by way of second chance points. If anyone other than Alex starts making shots, we will be lights out.

Loving the Woosh Kevin graphics on ESPN. This team is destroying Oregon. Wow! Amazing game. BYU looks unstoppable.

Re: BYU v Oregon
I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by us scoring 81 or our defense holding them to 49. Wow! And maybe this seems odd to some, but I loved watching our rebounding! I still think we suck at setting screens (I just have it engrained in me from my HS coach how to properly do it), but we are rebounding at an elite level right now!

Re: BYU v Oregon
Oregon's offense was a bunch of ballers trying to do some cool thing on their own and learning how that works against a team playing good defense. Seriously, if that is the best offense Oregon coaching can come up with, they are not a top 25 team. Oregon's D was pretty good I thought until the intensity evaporated mid way through the second half. Our rebounding and shot blocking were elite! And Alex was/is the man

Looks like this is going to be a theme all season. This team has good length and athleticism

Re: BYU v Oregon
We should have taken Oregon's place and higher. According to ESPN "the Cougars are the first unranked team to beat a top 15 team away from home by 30 plus points since 1993! The 32 point win is the largest margin of victory against a ranked opponent in the AP poll era dating back to 1948."

It should be noted that it wasn't BYU's fault that they were unranked.nuk13 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 10:54 amWe should have taken Oregon's place and higher.
