Three 4 Star Recruits Visit During Baylor Game

Three 4-Star Basketball Recruits Visit BYU During Baylor Weekend

Wow, pretty cool that we had three 4 start recruits on campus at the same time. You should seriously check out the link to the article which has some fun photos of each of them from a photoshoot they did during their visit.

Aaron Clark, 2023 4-Star - 6-foot-6 guard from Brewster Academy (New Hampshire)

Malick Diallo, 2024 4-Star - Mali native and Wasatch Academy forward. Is good friends with Traore. We were the first to offer and I feel that we are the front runner for him.

Isaac Davis, 2024 4-Star - 6-foot-7 forward from Idaho Falls, Idaho

I like that we're recruiting them, but what are the chances that they sign with BYU? I figure the likelihood in order is

1. Diallo (I think the Traore connection is pretty strong and Pope travelled to Africa to meet his family)

2. Davis (although this could be #1 if he's LDS and grew up a BYU fan)

3. Clark (from far away; but he's a Christian and BYU's values may appeal to him and his family

Don't forget that with Clark he was recruited by assistant Kahil Fennell when he was at Louisville so I think that gives us a decent shot at him.

Diallo looks to be the best of the bunch and I'm excited that we have a real shot at landing him.

Davis might be more raw and not playing against great competition in Idaho Falls, but could turn into a solid player if he were to stick around in the program for a few years and not transfer.

You can scratch Aaron Clark off the list. He has narrowed his choices to Miami and Wake Forest.
