Boise State drops a road game to UTEP. They don't appear to have that magic they do some years.

This one felt like it was coming and the Broncos have been overdue a loss like this.

I think UNLV has a great shot to beat USU. Curious how that one will show how much fight those pesky Aggies actually have.

USF *should* beat Louisville as they go on to have a good season.

The Baylor Iowa State match-up is interesting. Iowa State is really good and we need to develop more to be able to hang with teams like these week in and week out in the Big12. Watching this one I will wonder could the Cougs beat Iowa State? I don't know.

The Ark and Texas A&M ranked match up will be a tough game. I want Arkansas to stay undefeated until the trip to Provo. It feels like this year a few teams are down which we expected to be harder games (Notre Dame, Boyzee St, USU). Arkansas is like the inverse. When this one was put on the schedule, I was like, oh nice a middle of the pack SEC team that I think we can contend with. Nope! Not this year. This Arkansas team is really good. If BYU wins when they match up, it will forgive a mountain of sins from Autzen. Right now a 2-3 loss season is what I might say probable for BYU, but this Arkansas team will be the pivot. Maybe a solid win at home against a 2nd top 10 team in a few weeks keeps BYU at 1 loss and back in big bowl conversation.

For Notre Dame v UNC, I do want Notre Dame to be a quality team we meet in Vegas, but I am also just fine if the Tarheels win handily. It is fun to see Mack Brown back in coaching and doing well. My dad went through UNC back in the 60s and I have been raised as a Tarheel lifer. The other TVRC schools are ones I have attended but UNC was my first love. I think Notre Dame loses this one.

Fallout from the Boise State loss. Offensive Coordinator Tim Plough was fired and is being replaced by Dirk Koetter for the rest of the season. Koetter has been working as an analyst for the Broncos.
