BYU's upcoming Big 12 non-conference schedule

We know that the 2023 out of conference schedule will look like this to kick off BYU's inaugural Big 12 season:
2023
Week 1: Sam Houston State @ Provo - Sam Houston State is making the jump to FBS and joining Conference USA just in time to be the opening game of the season.
Week 2: Southern Utah @ Provo - FCS Southern Utah will help BYU tune up for their conference schedule as they were retained on the schedule and moved from a November date to week 2.
Week 3: Arkansas @ Fayetteville - The return game in the H/H with Arkansas is the big OOC game.

Looking ahead, this is how the next couple of seasons look so far:
2024
Week 1: This is likely to be Utah Tech rescheduled (not confirmed)
Week 2: Utah @ Salt Lake City (not confirmed)
Week 3: Wyoming @ Laramie (confirmed)
This has had some shuffling. Holmoe confirmed at the Wyoming game that the return trip to Laramie is on the 2024 schedule to stay. Nevada scheduled over the week 1 game. @ East Carolina is going to be cancelled or rescheduled.

2025
Week 1: Southern Utah @ Provo
Week 2:
Week 3:
Utah @ Provo needs to have a date set, and a road game will be found among rescheduled games I'd bet.

2026
Week 1: Troy @ Troy
Week 2: Arizona @ Provo
Week 3: Miami (FL) @ Miami Gardens
Also Utah @ Salt Lake City
Also USF @ Provo (week 7 currently)
Holmoe has some work to do here, but could very likely keep USF as the G5 home game (this was announced as a rescheduled date from its 2023 original spot) and then choose from Troy, Miami, and Utah as the road game. The final spot would likely be a FCS game.

This is enough to pick out the pattern going forward. The typical season will have a FCS game -- probably from among in-state options, a home game and an away game--one being a P5 and one being G5. That should keep the games balanced and use the "easier" games on the schedule better as warm ups before the team rolls into the conference schedule.

Holmoe indicated at the Wyoming game that the return trip to Laramie will remain on the schedule for 2024 in week 3.

BYU announced the addition of Southern Illinois in 2024 as the FCS game. This should complete OOC schedules through 2024.
