Wofford game

Post by YBrit »

BYU getting screwed by Refs!!!

Are these freakin' MWC refs??

What bull crap. Even the announcers are talking about Jimmer's no foul calls, Abuo's mysterious fouls, and the weak A charges.

Another weak call the Wofford guy clearly loses it out of bounds, calls it out on KC 4 feet away, then calls weak sauce foul on a Y player?

Bring on the WCC

What a bunch of bricks though. This is what happened in the San Diego State game - BYU throwing up enough bricks to remodel the Hinkley building. Emery with back-to-back airball thrrees. And what's with Magnussen launching that three. Can't imagine that's the shot Rose wanted. 'cmon cougs. Time to play the game.

Anderson is too nice. He got T'd up and still looked calm.

I wouldn't be sad if Anderson never touched the ball again.

Jimmer should have shot 10 FT that half.

the refrigerator door is closed (or something to that effect). We didn't look great, but hopefully we're saving our offensive punch for st johns/zaga.

It was the two 3s my homeboy from Heber made and his other points and all the rebounds that caused him to end up speaking from the podium to represent the team after the game. Rose did want LM to take those shots, and the opposing coach took the risk, an exact quote, of leaving him open to double Fredette.

He is a role player for sure - played his role well. I wish people would quit bagging on our imperfect bench. Can you imagine how this game would have turned out without Anderson and Magnusson. They are who we have. Appreciate them. They are needed at times - like when Abouo and Hartsock both have foul trouble and Rogers has gone ineffective. I am wondering if Rogers is healthy. He looks so good at times but has been stone cold lately. KC was awesome on the boards but played a little out of control with shots and passing and missed two free throws in a row. They are all imperfect.

But amidst all of the imperfections - did I mention Jackson being ice cold shooting - there are glimpses of what each player might contribute and hope that it will be enough to beat the Zags. We will get to see David Stockton in that game. He is not his dad, but still is a decent reserve role player.

Anae just might be the guy. Wisconsin DC says Anae is totally unpredictable because he just runs a bunch of plays with no rhyme or reason. Whooped Butt on Houston DC for 3 of 4 quarters. Destroyed Texas DC and HC careers.
