Biggest Come Back in Mendenhall Era

We just witnessed the biggest come back since Bronco has become head coach. 13 point deficit is the largest come from behind win since 2005. The only two other come backs greater than 10 points are:

Utah - November 2006 we were down by 10 points going into the 4th quarter.
New Mexico - October 2005 we were down by 11 points going into the 4th quarter.

It's not very encouraging to know that if we fall behind by 2 TD's that it's not likely that we come back since we haven't done it in over six years. It's almost been 10 years since we overcame a major deficit which occurred in 2002 when we came back from 27 points down at half time to beat Utah State.

You're right though, BYU doesn't seem to have the playmakers to mount a massive comeback.

Bronco also improved to 16-6 in games decided by 7 points or less.

I also prefer games where the need to come back isn't needed.

Biggest play makers at this point are on defense, which fine because defense wins championships, but the offense better learn to seal the deal real quick.
